The Original Gangster

From gang banger to pimp, from recording MC to television and the silver screen. Ice-T is still one of the founding fathers of hip-hop as we know it. The true “original gangster”. When I heard Ice-T was coming to Brooklyn my heart skipped a beat, and I jumped at the chance to create a poster for a hip-hop icon. The poster is based off of his controversial hit “cop killer” which brought the trials of ghetto life to the main stream media. Like it or not the song was and still is a milestone in hip-hop history.

The poster is 2 colors, with metallic gold ink, and black. 18″x24″

Man Day 2010 aftermath

This Year Ink and Dagger raised the bar with the 2nd annual Man Day Bash. Karen and I weren’t able to make it this year, but Jon Ruby was kind enough to send over some of his photos of the event. There is no way we are missing next years macho mayhem.
